Photo was taken several months after the
aircraft was transferred from 479 ASG to VIII BC in Oct 43. The aircraft was on
loan to 303rd BG at Molesworth on 6 Feb 44 and assigned to that B-17 Group on 14
Mar 44. This is compatible with its presence at Molesworth during the shooting
of "Target for Today".
