Caption Reads "WICKED WITCH returns to Wake -- Sergeant William Campbell, USMC, a Marine hero, stands by his ship WICKED WITCH a B-24 Liberator Bomber on which he manned the tail guns on the raid on Wake Island. Campbell was the first Marine to encounter the Wake Island Defenders since that island was taken from the Marines last year. In this photo Campbell points to a 20mm shell hole.
