LOUIS SALZMANN |
Contributor - Bill Salzmann
Taken at Shipdham Sept, 1944. My Father, 1st Lt.
Louis Salzmann (Navigator) is standing second from left. Although there is some confusion with the ending date, the
crew flew 30 missions sometime between 1 Aug 44 and 15 Mar 45. According to my Uncle (who was a B-24 radio operator in
the 15th AF), they flew all their missions on either TALLY HO or FIFINELLA. (See additional photo of
Salzmann, Williams, and
Salvatore standing in front of FIFINELLA.)
