Renamed from CAVE GAL
Contributor - Don
Blair
My Father, Robert L. Blair, was the Pilot.
Photo is of the damaged tail section after a run to Garana, Romania 11 Jun 44. The names of the crew members are listed
as Blair, Hemsley, Bostner, Storgu, Crizer, Mack, Frye and (Zumbroha?). I do not
know all of their Job Assignments during this flight. Dad does have the back of
the picture listed as: From the lower left to right. Nose Turret, Tail Turret,
Waist and Radio, Ball Turret. Standing from left: Robert L. Blair Pilot, Edward
J. Hemsley Co-Pilot, Navigator, Bombardier. Sitting in the hole is the engineer and
kneeling next to him is someone from the ground crew.
