I don't know who the two people are loading the bomb, but the
person looking on from the right is my Father, John "Johnny" Cardoza (Ground Crew Armorer). Taken on the eve of D-Day showing clusters of antipersonnel
bombs being loaded on to SPIRIT OF NOTRE DAME. The
plane carried 40 of these clusters, 20 on each side, for a total
of 240 bombs.
