The plane is part of a Group which was recently commended by Gen. Doolittle for
performing the longest first operational combat mission lasting 9 1/2 hours, and
has flown 37 missions in a two-month period.

Brittan
466th BG flew its first combat
mission on 22 Mar 44 and its 37th mission immediately preceded the Neunkirchen
one and was flown on 25 May 44.
