EUGENE "POP" OSBORN |
Port (Left) Side - Interned in Sweden
Contributor - Gene
Osborn
My Dad, Eugene "Pop" Osborn (Standing
Center), was an Engineer stationed in England. Late in the war he was part of a group that flew to Sweden and flew out of a Swedish air force base
ferrying supplies and people to areas behind enemy lines. He was called "Pop" (as he was over
40) and also served in the cavalry in WWI.
