flown to England by Pilot 2nd Lt. Frank W. Herzik in Jan 44. Al Hilborn (Co-Pilot on Crew
#74) said that Herzik named the plane SKI-NOSE because, “this was Herzik’s nickname for his wife who had a rather large, but beautiful nose.”
