On 10 May, 1944, aircraft was involved in a landing accident, at Debach, when it
over-ran runway 18 and hit a truck waiting to cross the perimeter track. The
left main gear was torn off, aircraft ground looped, no. 1 prop was knocked off
and no. 2 bent, and the left wing and fuselage damaged.
Pilot 1 Lt John R Shipley, and crew, were uninjured.
