The 90th Bomb Group figured out that the olive drab paint was
not very good camouflage, when you were looking up. When it
cracked, it created wind resistance, thus reducing speed, plus it
added additional weight. PRETTY BABY
begins green and this is probably
right after the paint removal, leaving only the
girl. Printing was easy, but even ugly girls were hard to
come by.
