Lost 13 Oct 44 from flak damage over Vienna with John Blaney's crew aboard. The crew bailed out over the Adriatic Sea. Three were lost at sea;
Blaney, Tail Gunner Rudolph Moreno, and photographer William Battagliola. The other eight were picked up by Air-Sea Rescue and returned to service.
