My Father, George W. Snook, was stationed in Tiebenham,
England during WWII and was in the plane when it was hit. They fired at the
plane and when it hit, it knocked my Dad's boot off his foot and also took his
parachute right out of the huge hole in the picture. The gentleman in the
picture was one of my Dad's crew members.
