Pilot Lt. Keith Martin and Crew flew The-MONSTER five times in combat before being reassigned to the 801st (P) "Carpetbaggers", 10 May 44. The-MONSTER
was transferred to the 789th BS where it was lost after crashing near Hamburg.

Wonderful picture!! It was heartwarming to see the nose of our old B-24 we
flew to England in 1944. We were the 467th Bomb Group stationed at Rackheath,
England. However, our squadron left our old war bird in April to join the 801st (P). Thanks for the pic.
