MONSOON MAIDEN, along with her sister ship, MASSA'S
DRAGON (42-109862), flew the first LAB (Low Altitude Bomber) missions of the
308th Bomb Group. These radar-equipped aircraft were deployed against Japanese
shipping in the South China Sea.
