Issued to the John H. Horn crew to fly overseas & was painted in Brazil.
Unfortunately, when it came time to fly overseas at midnight (19 Apr 44), the
Operations Officer (Fontelza, Brazil) told the crew to unload and take the next
B-24 in line. The MERCHANTS OF MENACE never made it to the 376th BG.
