I was with crew 7 and trained at Fresno,
California when we flew LUCKY SEVEN to Italy. We
were sent home for R&R 9 Jul 44 and two weeks later,
after we arrived in the States, LUCKY SEVEN was shot
down. (I understand it was the Bombardier's second mission).
