Crashed at Moonlight Creek (2 Dec 42) - Pilot N. R.
Crosson
Research Team Comments: The pilot of the 1st LITTLE EVA (41-23762) asked for exclusive rights to the name, but "762" crashed before it could be removed from the 2nd LITTLE EVA (41-23772), so the name remained. LITTLE EVA was the name of the large-proportioned proprietor of the eponymous bar in Greenville SC where the 90th BG trained.
