Pilot Lt. Charles Perretti named the aircraft. Lost on a mission with another
crew. The pilot turned back with the #2 engine out and trying to
land, missed the runway. Beginning a right turn, she stalled and
one of the bombs exploded, demolishing the plane and killing the
crew.
