My Father, Captain Leslie J. Conradi, was the Pilot of JUDITH ANN and he named this bird after my sister (born in 1943). He flew with the 8th Air Force out of Africa and Italy, including the Ploesti raids. Sadly, he passed away in 1985. His Co-Pilot was named Brown, and another crew member was named DiMattio (whom I think was a Tail Gunner).
