Port (Left) Side
Contributor - Mark Coffee
Shown with the "Gunners" of Steve Petz's crew. Original Brunning ship that flew at least 40
missions and had 3 fighters credited. Her flying characteristics
became dangerous, and after repeated complaints by various
pilots, she was sent to the Goioa maintenance depot. It was
found that combat damage, and a lodged bullet in the wing root,
had weakened the spar and allowed the wing to torque.
