An original 448th BG / 713th BS, aircraft (RCL
probably Z) that landed on 11 Dec 43 at Tibenham (but was never assigned to
445th BG) from St Mawgan on its way from the USA to Seething. Before flying any
combat missions, it left Seething on 22 Dec 43 for Watton to have ETO mods
carried out by 3 SAD. Transferred to 44th BG, 66th BS (RCL: F) on 29 or 30 Dec
43. Salvaged 10 Feb 44 after crashing on 9 Feb 44 at Shipdham.
