Pilot Lt. Hamby crash-landed at Old
Buckenham (from battle damage) on return from 6 Mar 44 mission (Primary target:
Berlin/Genhagen but Oranienburg airfield was bombed as a target of opportunity).
This was before jaws were painted around the nose.
