DALE A. BATES |

Dale A. Bates mainly flew as a 90th BG / 321st BS gunner for the Jurs crew but
he also helped with gunner training and flew with other crews. He took
photos of several different BG planes, so this adds to the mystery of this shot.
Info Contributor - Georges "Gino" Künzle
I’m pretty much certain that this a/c had the knife-edge windscreen and
clamshell-type escape hatches in roof of cockpit canopy; therefore, all L-FOs
and early M-FOs can be excluded; so, it should belong to a batch from the
M-20-FO and higher, its s/n having to be from 44-51052 and up.
