The Crew arrived at Venosa in July 1944 and assigned to FLAK
SHAK III. Shot down by fighters while on a raid to the
Pardubice Oil Refinery in Czechoslovakia. Several of the crew were wounded, but
the entire crew survived the war in POW camps.
