Flown to Italy by 1st Lt. Tom Oliver. Oliver and crew were MIA on 6 May 44
returning from Romania in another A/C and returned some weeks later after
evading capture. FIGHTING MUDCAT was shot down 2 Jul 44, flown by Lt. Walter
Chance. The crew bailed out over Hungary and the plane crashed.
