Brittan
Flew to the UK by the northern route. On 18 Mar 44,
it made a precautionary landing at RAF Connel (Oban), Scotland, en route from
Iceland to Prestwick, Scotland. It ran off the end of the runway, was repaired
and flew on to Prestwick. 8/482 PFF (SH) at Alconbury. Transferred in Apr 44 to: 8/44/66
(QK C+) at Shipdham. Transferred on 18 Aug 44 to: 8/491 at North Pickenham.
Transferred after 11 Sep 44 to: 8/392/578 (EC Q bar) at Wendling. Re-deployed to
ZI on 29 May 45.
