Original aircraft in 8th AF 493rd BG. On 31 May 44, it was
transferred to 8 34 18 with call letter M. The call letter was changed to B
towards the end of Jul 44 and it flew its last mission with 34th BG on 24 Aug
44.
It was named The DUGAN WAGON during its service in 34th BG following the loss on
24 Jul 44 of the original The DUGAN WAGON (H-15 FO 42-94757, which had been M in
18th BS until 44-40482 arrived and was given that letter, leaving 42-94757's
call letter to be changed to Q).
On 5 Dec 44 it was transferred by BAD 2, Warton, to MTO, where it was assigned
to 15 449 719 #04.

Lasted out the war and was flown to the Gioia Depot at the end
of combat operations, 29 Apr 45. She subsequently was returned to the ZOI
at Hunter AAFB, 9 Jul 45.
