Originally #61 until it made a dead stick landing at a fighter strip 19 Jul 44
and did not return to combat until 5 Oct 44, when it was renumbered to #77.
Crashed out of gas, short of the field at Grottaglie 8 Jan 45, with the Bivins'
crew aboard (4 KIA).
