My Father, Lt. Louis Anthony Shukle, was the Navigator/Bombardier out of Hickham Air Field in 1944. He flew his thirty missions and left the service in October 1944. He was recalled to the Air Force in October 1948 and retired in 1966 as a Lt. Colonel.
