Was in the 490th BG in Apr 44 prior to overseas
deployment, and after that, went to England. The LORETTA ANN spent three months flying some 30
missions with the 34th BG / 391st BS (I).
It's first 34th BG mission was 6 Jun 44 and it
continued with the 34th BG until the transition to B-17s
in late Aug 44. The only regular crew of this aircraft was a replacement crew,
Piloted by Marsden. This crew flew 17 missions in this plane
between 20 Jun - 24 Aug 44.
