Shown with my Father-In-Law, Regos Theodore (Armorer/Gunner - kneeling 3rd from right), stateside Sep 43. The 392nd BG crew in the photo didn't fly a single
combat mission in this plane. The BANSHEE was
transferred to the 44th BG after the
"Pilotless" crew got to Prestwick, Scotland, on the way
to Wendling.
