The paint job was applied after it was
damaged severely and converted to a courier. It never flew a combat mission
looking like this. It was a Mickey ship in the 757th BS
prior to transfer to the 756th BS and becoming a courier. It had been the lead ship on the 23 April Bad Vaslau mission for which
the unit earned it's citation.
