My Father, Ronald R. O'Neal Sr., was with the 8th
Combat Camera Unit in England. Prior to the war he worked for Warner Brothers
Studios. A bunch of the men who worked there (as well as other studios), joined
the First Motion Picture Unit, which was then broken up into Combat Camera Units
after basic training. He ended up in England.
