AKA "DANCING DOLLY"
Contributor -
James A.
Kinter, Sr.
Photo was acquired from the estate of my
wife's uncle, Adam "Stumpy" Sochanski, of Wilmerding, PA. He was a Sergeant, U.S. Army Air Corps, 13th AF, 307th
BG / 370th BS, Pacific Campaign.
Info Contributor -
John Origlio
My Brother, Joe Origlio (Artist), was
with the 871st Airborne Engineers as a painter, and did artwork on the side. The
art work was inspired by Alberto Vargas (Esquire Calendar - October 1945).
My brother added coconut trees for the South Pacific theme. All the artwork was
painted on an air base on Morotai Island off New Guinea.
