assigned to BACHELOR'S PARADISE (42-52432). BACHELOR'S PARADISE was shot down over Sandved, Denmark on Easter Sunday,
9 Apr 44 (MACR 3838). Logie, Reed, and Murphy escaped to England with the help of the underground. Kita, Scott, and Jacobson were captured and placed in POW camps. Sheren, Cisek, Schram and my
Uncle Fred Stiles were killed in the crash.
