colliding mid-air with Wayne J. Cowgill's crew on their 21st mission on 21 Jul
44. All crew perished in collision less Co-Pilot "Flip" Cowger,
who credits his survival to his not wearing a flying belt, which allowed him to
be literally blown out of the plane.
